JRA Gallant and SAR barrelled actions

Standard JRA fully machined billet Gallant marked receivers, barrelled in either the standard AKM version, or the short barreled SAR version. We only have two of each, so if you want one, please call the shop to order.

ARM:

• In order to headspace the bolt to the receiver, we will need you to send us your stripped bolt and your
  bullet guide. The bolt will be headspaced in the 5.56x45 NATO range.
• The ARM has a 18.25", 1-7 twist 4150 barrel with M13x1 RHT threaded muzzle.
• The ARM barrel has both the extractor cut and the band cut.

SAR: 

• In order to headspace the bolt to the receiver, we will need you to send us your stripped bolt and your bullet guide. The bolt will be headspaced in the 5.56x45 NATO range.
• The SAR has a 13.25", 1-9 twist 4150 barrel with 1/2x28 threaded muzzle to accept AR15 muzzle devices, and allows it to be pinned/welded by you to meet the 16" barrel length for a rifle without a tax stamp. 
  • We can pin/weld for you for an additional fee of $50, if you supply the muzzle device.
• The SAR barrel has the extractor cut and band cut, however, for the SAR variant only (not the ARM), due to the variation in gas cylinders, the customer must locate and drill the gas port. 
  • We can do this for you after we headspace the bolt, if you also supply the gas block and gas tube, for an additional fee of $25.
