The classic ITAL model was the standard issue for the Italian military. In addition to the box magazine, it had an integral folding bipod and combination grenade launcher mount, flash hider and grenade launcher sight.

Please note that part of the Important Ammunition REQUIREMENTS for these rifles (see our home page), is that they are not designed for either commercial, and .308 ammunition; they REQUIRE using military M80 ammunition.

Advantages
-Billet cut receiver.
-Costs less than a real Berreta BM-59.
-Other than the receiver and barrel, all components are Berreta marked.
Disadvantages
-Magazines are not cheap.

Received my service grade BM-59 from JRA and I am very happy with it. It came with one mag, sling, combo tool, and oiler. I chose the service grade model over Grade A because I like rifles to show use and not be too pretty to shoot. All metal components showed excellent finish and the stock was a modified Garand stock with BM-59 stamped on the wood. My FFL dealer was very jealous of my rifle and is thinking about buying one himself. Pick one up before Berreta BM-59 kits are gone and these rifles are not produced anymore.

Great surplus rifle! Everything was made by PB it seems except for the receiver, all of which is awesome quality! Even a functional grenade launcher / gas turn off.
There is so many compliments I can give this beautiful work of art! So glad JRA was able to bring this beast to life with an affordable price tag!
Shoots really flat, everything looks new, and very soft to shoot; especially with the bipod!

Excellent condition, all parts look almost new, beautifully figured stock, and the receiver is very finely machined, looks identical to pre ban Berretas and USGI M1 recievers aside from the markings
Disadvantages
So nice I almost didn't want to shoot it.
