If you remember "running through the jungle with my M14", this rifle will look and feel basically like what you were running with.  Original unrefinished woodstock and handguard, which adds to the "authentic look".  "And no, we did not add any weight to this rifle, it weighs exactly what it did in 1968."   USGI parts, excellent original chrome-lined barrel (SA 1961 dated muzzle gauges 1/2) and JRA receiver. Hand guard is now new but we include a used one with the rifle. ( the used hand guard is a bit rough)

When I began my search for another M14/M1a platform to use for CMP competitions I looked at pretty much all the different manufacturers and I had owned at least one from most of them and while some functioned and shot well there was never anything that made them stand out. Then I discovered the JRA M14 and decided to try that. I was blown away when it arrived. Gorgeous rifle, put together really well, everything lines up well, is full of USGI parts, and the finish is top notch. I've shot it and have been quite impressed with the initial accuracy. I could not recommend more highly.
