New Pietta Smith Carbine. We sent the barrel to Hoyt to put in the proper rifling. Bore diameter is sized to use .515-.518 projectiles. The Pietta Smith is an outstanding reproduction which can be hard to distinguish from the original. The only issue we have ever seen is that Pietta does not put the correct rifling making it less accurate than the original. Hoyt has lined and cut three groove deep 1-56 rifling which has been proven to be the most accurate. Perfect for the N-SSA carbine match it is an approved arm
