This is an interesting rifle that we cannot find much information on. Very similar to the imported Brazilian Light Minie popular with Ohio troops, however this is brass banded not steel. Decent original rifling that is multi-groove and .577 diameter. Definitely a Belgian made export rifle it is a great shooter and a rare rifle variant.
